# If a character has an emotional change, try to showcase it when the head is still. Try to make sure it doesn't get lost in some broader movement.
# the viewer will have trouble reading any action more than 6 frames in to the shot. Try to time the important actions to allow the viewer's eye to get oriented to the shot.
# keep in mind who owns the shot. Don't upstage the owner of the shot. If a shot is about a particular character make sure the other characters don't distract from that. Ideally they'd direct the viewers attention toward where they should be looking.
# when the ownership of a shot gets transferred, it should be obvious to the viewer who they should be looking at.
